AVALON WORLDWIDE FZCO
Avalon Worldwide FZCO is a Dubai-based trading company specializing in the sourcing and distribution of rough diamonds. Headquartered at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), it operates at the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic commodity-trading hubs, leveraging Dubai’s strategic location, world-class infrastructure and robust regulatory framework to facilitate ethical and efficient trade.

EXCELLENT FACETS
Founded in 1997, Excellent Facets Inc. supplies natural diamonds to the world’s leading jewelry and timepiece maisons. With offices in New York and Geneva, the company specializes in calibrated white melee, fancy-color melee, large fancy colors including Argyle pink diamonds, and cut-to-measure fancy shapes crafted to ±0.02 mm tolerances for haute horlogerie and joaillerie.
Polishing takes place in fully compliant facilities in India, combining generational craftsmanship with advanced metrology tools such as laser mapping and Sarine scanning. This yields consistent quality, near-zero rejection rates, and reliable delivery across complex layouts.
As an RJC member since 2009, the company is committed to responsible sourcing and climate action. Its efforts include:
- Purchasing rough directly via tender from approved mines such as Ekati and Diavik.
- Offering blockchain traceability to mine of origin for melee through iTraceiT.
- Achieving net-zero emissions in 2023, with further reductions aligned to Science-Based Targets.
Most of the Excellent Facets team has served the company for 15 years, reflecting a culture of continuity and trust.
Through the Sheth Family Foundation, the company also support global initiatives including UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, and Diamonds Do Good. Its mission is to deliver beauty with integrity, from mine to maison.

With nearly thirty years of experience in the natual fancy color damond sector, New York-headquartered Gemelody has achieved worldwide recognition as a leader in the diamond industry.

UNION FRANÇAISE DE LA BIJOUTERIE, JOAILLERIE, ORFÈVRERIE, DES PIERRES & DES PERLES (UFBJOP)
The Union Française de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie, des Pierres & des Perles (UFBJOP) is the organization bringing together all the parties involved in the French jewelry, goldsmith, precious stone and pearl industry. Serving all dimensions of the trade, its balances its roles as a trade association, a jewelry school, a training center and an expert gemstone laboratory.
The UFBJOP unites under its umbrella some 200 companies, mostly SMEs, including production workshops, luxury groups and industrial companies.
The UFBJOP also oversees governance of the jewelry school Haute Ecole de Joaillerie, which was created in 1867, to ensure the future of crafts in the sector, transmitting the traditional know-how and new technologies.
Since 2011, the UFBJOP ihas also been the only shareholder of the French Gemmological Laboratory, which provides scientific analysis of gems services for professionals and individuals.
